ActionAid is hiring!
We are looking for the right person to join the ActionAid International team as a Climate Justice Coordinator, starting as soon as possible! (Ideally mid September, or 1st Oct at the latest.)
You will work with the ActionAid federation to support and align country offices in our climate justice programme and policy work. You’ll facilitate shared learning, capacity building, research, and joint activities, helping to take the federation’s climate justice work to the next level.
You’re experienced in climate justice and Global South perspectives, and possibly even agroecology, disaster risk reduction and/or UNFCCC processes. You’ve worked within federations or networks, and collaborate with social movements. You’re great at building relationships, and are enthusiastic about finding ways for people to align and work together for greater impact. And you really get, and are passionate about, ActionAid’s climate justice values.

Nairobi, Johannesburg and London are preferred locations, however locations with ActionAid offices willing to host may also be possible. The role is based in the location country, working primarily online, with occasional country visits or other travel.
